The Atlanta University Center (AUC) Robert W. Woodruff Library and AUC Art History + Curatorial Studies Collective are pleased to invite all currently enrolled Clark Atlanta University, Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC), Morehouse College and Spelman College students to submit artwork for the 2023-2024 AUC Student Arts Festival and Exhibition. 

Calling on artists, photographers, and fashion designers working in painting, drawing, mixed media, and photography, as well as clothing and jewelry design. Let your work celebrate the influence of hip hop on culture worldwide! 

Submission deadline is Sunday November 26, 2023 at midnight.

Selected artists will have the opportunity to present their work to a group of peers and a panel of judges during the  Presentation & Critique in January 2024.  Feedback from the  Presentation & Critique will help determine which artworks will be included in the upcoming student curated exhibition scheduled for March 2024.  Grand prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

Selected artists may request funds to assist in the production of new work or preparation (i.e., framing) of existing work.
