GLAM Center
About
The GLAM Center commits to the preservation, interpretation, and celebration of African American arts and culture through exhibitions to serve the AUC member institutions. Through thoughtfully curated exhibitions, the GLAM Center creates space for discovery, reflection, dialogue, and connection among students, faculty, staff, and the broader public. These exhibitions honor the diverse histories and contributions of African American communities and the African Diaspora while affirming the library’s role as a vital site of Black knowledge and intellectual exchange.

Exhibition Inquiry
The GLAM Center welcomes exhibition inquiries that explore themes related to the African Diaspora and foster opportunities for AUC student, faculty, and community engagement. Priority consideration is given to exhibitions proposed by AUC faculty and students, as the library’s exhibition program is an extension of its educational mission. All proposed exhibitions should demonstrate relevance to the academic, cultural, and intellectual interests of the AUC community while honoring the histories, experiences, and contributions of people of African descent globally.
