Course Title: Curriculum inspired exhibition assignment
Assignment Description:
In this assignment, students will make bi-weekly visits to the AUC Robert W. Woodruff Library Archives Research Center to conduct archival research on a person or topic. During each visit students will complete a document or image analysis worksheet which they will use to prepare for their digital exhibition on person or topic.
The digital exhibit must have a minimum of five (5) objects and include a 500-word exhibit introduction in addition to 200-word captions for each of their selected exhibit objects.
Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to:

⚬ Conduct archival research.
⚬ Read and navigate archival finding aids.
⚬ Gain experience in proper handling and care of archival materials.
⚬ Gain experience with content management systems and exhibit software.
Preparation for Assignment
⚬ Faculty should schedule an instruction session with the Archives Research Center.
⚬ Faculty should schedule an Omeka instruction session with the GLAM Center for Collaborative Teaching and Learning.
